We are the misfits of the identification industry! We’re the ones that everyone talks about when we launch a new product or come up with a new idea. Sometimes they think we’re crazy (maybe we are!), but we are also the company that our competitors want to be like! That is because we put all our energy and heart into creating incredible products and developing awesome team members that we believe in.

Our Core Values, or our “BadgePassions” as we like to call them, help us drive decisions in our organization and determine if a potential team member is the right fit for our organization. As we grow, these remind us to stay true to who we are and what makes us great.

Many companies claim to have a “family atmosphere” or be somewhere that everyone “loves to go to work” every day. The difference with BadgePass is that here, those things are actually true. Our “BadgePassions” (Core Values) are present in our work every day, as all of our team members work together towards a common goal – and we make sure we’re having fun while we do it!

Our local team members in Mississippi have the benefit of being near our headquarters; however, we work extremely hard to make sure our remote team members always feel like they are part of the family as well. We host companywide “All Hands” Meetings once a month to make sure everyone is on the same page about what is going on in the business. We get together at least once per year and invite everyone in the company to attend. But more important than all of that, our open-door policy is real. Anyone in the company feels comfortable approaching anyone who works here at any time, whether it is for a meeting, or just to say hello, including our executive team members and our CEO.

Our products are incredible, but it’s truly the people that make BadgePass an great place to work. In 2021, we had the privilege of being recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Mississippi and we believe that’s truly a testament to our awesome team members.

    Essential Job Responsibilities Include:
  • • Troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of designated equipment including software and hardware devices
  • • Providing an exceptional level of customer service
  • • Performing hardware and software installations – both on-site and remote, as needed
  • • Proactively scheduling and running inspections and service calls to customer sites
  • • Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as documenting support call details, updating internal service records, etc
  • • Daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up
  • • Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated

    Requirements:

You will learn to configure and demonstrate the product for product demonstrations and installations. As a member of the Product Specialist team, you’ll get to provide valuable feedback to our software developers based on customer experience.

You will be assigned a regional territory to generate new business opportunities in through prospecting and new business development. You will be responsible for prospecting, scheduling appointments, conducting discovery calls and meetings and performing product demonstrations. You’ll have an opportunity to generate sales while building meaningful relationships with key accounts in your assigned region.

No sales experience? We’re good with that! We’re glad to train you on the ins and outs of the sales process, as well as our solutions!

Hardware Support Specialist

Do you love to solve problems?

Do you enjoy figuring out creative ways to fix or repair things?

As a Printer Support Technician with BadgePass, you will leverage your technical and mechanical skills to prepare equipment for customer installations, perform equipment upgrades, test and repair any printer equipment with issues, and refurbish printers for resale. Your role will be pivotal in our success as you help to better ensure seamless installations and a positive customer experience when we experience a problem with a card printer.

    Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • • Install card printer drivers and test for proper functionality.
  • • Install add-on modules and features to card printers.
  • • Troubleshooting and bench repair of hardware/mechanical items on non-working card printers from multiple manufacturers.
  • • Accurately document support call information via NetSuite software.
  • • Always maintain spare parts inventory at appropriate levels.
  • • Keep a clean and organized work area.
  • • Communicate status updates and issues with other departments, as needed.

    Requirements:
  • • Proper communication skills and phone etiquette.
  • • Network and PC knowledge.
  • • Mechanical and electronic experience a plus, but not a requirement.
  • • Knowledge of relevant software computer applications and equipment.
  • • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • • Ability to install and service software and peripherals.
  • • Self-motivated and sense of urgency in addressing any support issues.
