BadgePass Adds CSR Readers to Its Product Lineup for Enhanced Security

We are excited to announce that BadgePass once again has another new Reader offering and now offers FarPointe CSR readers as part of our product lineup. These readers are the latest addition to our access control solutions and will provide an alternative to the other smart only readers we currently promote for use with BadgePass Enterprise.

The CSR reader is a smart-only technology reader that supports the BadgePass Smart Card and other MIFARE credentials. These readers are not multi-tech and will not support prox cards, but have an extremely competitive price point and also ship with a single gang wall switch box that allows you to decide while on site if a particular door need mullion style reader or a wall switch style reader. The CSR readers are also available with both Wiegand and OSDP support and with options for a mullion reader with keypad and a wall switch reader with keypad. The lead time is approximately two weeks.
