Setting Index Fields, Ignore on Update and Allow Clear for Data Integration
Index Fields can be set in the Portal when requesting the Import for most Standard Fields; this is done separately from the Unique Identifiers designated in the Entity Fields setup.
In the following example, this would require all commission badge numbers to be a unique number:
Modules and Fields (Address, Phone, Credential, etc.) now support Ignore on Update. If this is turned on for a particular field, and the record already exists in the Destination, this field will not be changed, regardless of what is in the Source data.
In the following example, the Grade field would be ignored on any record that already exists:
Standard and Custom Fields now support the Allow Clear functionality. If enabled, a field that already exists in the Destination will be overwritten with an empty value. If this is not enabled and the source contains an empty value but the Destination has a value, the original destination value will be retained.
In the following example, Any Grade field that has been set to blank in the source data will become blank in the Database.
