Step-by-Step Guide: Importing CSV Files into BadgeHub Using Data Connector

Welcome to the BadgePass Data Connector! This guide will walk you through the steps to create and run a data import profile that connects CSV data directly into BadgeHub.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Create a New Profile
  • In the Profiles section, click the “+” button to create a new profile.

  • Enter a name for your profile.

  1. Select Your Data Source
  • Under the SOURCE section, click on “File”.
  • Click the folder icon next to the file path.

  • Choose the CSV file you want to import and click OK.

💡 Tip: You can press “Show Data” to preview the file contents before continuing.

  1. Configure File Name
  • In the File Name section, click the folder icon again.

  • Select the CSV file and click Open.

  1. Add Data
  • Click the “Add Data” button to proceed.

  • Your Source Fields will now populate automatically based on your file.
  1. Set Destination Fields
  • Under the Destination Fields section, use the dropdown menu to select the entity where you want to import the data.

  • Click “Add” at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Map Fields
  • Click on “Standard Fields” and then click “Add”.

  • Select a Source Field, then connect it with the corresponding Standard Field.
  • Click “Map” to finalize the connection.

🔁 Repeat this step for each field you’d like to import.

  1. Save the Profile
  • Once all fields are mapped, click the Save button.

  • Your new profile will now appear in the list.

Running the Import

  1. Upload the Data
  • When you’re ready, click the “Play” button to run the import.

  • The system will begin uploading your file.

✅ A confirmation pop-up will appear once the upload is successful.

Final Step: Import into BadgeHub

  1. Go to BadgeHub Portal
  • Log in to the BadgeHub Portal.
  • Navigate to Data Integration > Import.
  • Click “Import” to see the import history.

You will now see a report showing how many records were successfully imported into your system.
