- Log In to the BadgeHub Portal
- Go to your BadgeHub portal and sign in using your credentials.
- Create a New Integration
- Click on Data Integration in the main navigation menu.
- From the dropdown, select Integration.
- Click the ➕ under the Integration section.
- Enter a name for your integration and click Next.
- Configure Whitelisted IP Address
- In the Configuration tab, click the ➕ under Whitelisted IP Addresses.
- Enter the IP address of the device where your Data Connector is installed.
- Click Save.
- Copy Your Personal Access Token (PAT)
- After saving, your Personal Access Token (PAT) will be displayed.
- Copy this token — you’ll need it in the next step to authenticate the connection.
NOTE: If you do not copy the token at this point, you will have to delete the integration and start back over from step #2 to be able get another PAT.
- Assign User Permissions for the Data Connector
- Go back to the BadgeHub portal.
- Navigate to the Users section under the Security tab.
- Click on the user you want to grant Data Connector access to.
- Click Manage under Permissions.
- Check the boxes under Provision Data Connector.
- Click Save.
- Open the Data Connector Application
- Launch the Data Connector on your machine.
- Click on the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top corner.
- In the BadgeHub Settings section, paste your copied PAT into the provided field.
- Click Register.
- Sign In Through Data Connector
- After clicking Register, a login prompt will appear.
- Sign in using your BadgeHub username and password.
✅ Setup Complete!
Your Data Connector is now securely connected to BadgeHub and ready to use.
