Follow this guide to update your Card Printer Firmware.
Verify Current Printer Firmware:
- Select the devices dropdown> then printers.
- Select the printer you want to view.
- Once the flyout opens, select the settings button.
- Once you are on the settings landing page, select the utilities button.
- A dropdown menu will populate where you can see the current firmware that is installed on the printer.
Update Card Printer Firmware:
- Select the card printer button to select a new firmware for the printer.
- From here, you can follow the prompts on the flyout menu to select the firmware you want to install. Then select confirm to initiate the update.
- Note: Please make sure that you do not unplug the printer during the firmware update as this can cause malfunctions in the update.
- After approximately 1-2 minutes, your printer firmware should have the desired firmware installed into the hardware.
