Append Mode– Default mode. This will only add new groups and not remove any groups of which the record is already a member.
Master Mode– Makes the new Source data the “Master” and will remove any existing groups for the record in the Destination.
Subset Master Mode– Subset Master mode will add any group mapped in the Source but will remove only existing group memberships designated by this setting from the Destination
In the example below. Any group coming in from the source data import that matches up to Staff or Student would be subject to be overwritten. The Visitor and Contractor groups would not be modified.
